CSA - Community Supported Agriculture
CSA brings together community members, farmers and agricultural land in a mutually supportive relationship based on commitment to each other, a commitment which will help the local family farm remains in business to provide organically grown crops for the community.

Community members pay the farmer an annual membership fee to cover the cost of crop production for them. In return for their commitment to family farming, subscribers will receive a variety of freshly picked organic vegetables. The subscribers and farmer become partners in the production, distribution, and consumption of locally grown food.

The crops will be planted so as to provide a continuous supply of mixed vegetables which will be nutritious and delicious.

Read our CSA letter about Organic Policy

CSA is a solution for Farmers and Communities that:

  • Makes nutritious, affordable, wholesome foods accessible and available to a community.
  • Provides farmers with direct outlets for their farm products.
  • Links producers with consumers which will allow people to have a connection with their food and the land on which it was produced.
  • Encourages proper land stewardship in which the farmer has low or no chemical inputs.
  • Strengthens local economies by keeping food dollars in local communities.

There will be options available to order other items which include various homemade cheeses, eggs, and meats. All you need to do is fill out an order sheet and place it in your return box along with your payment.

Please don't hesitate to contact us at (570)-746-1664 with any questions you may have, or feel free to email us.

Thank you for your interest in our CSA. We have included a letter* which will explain why some of our products are not "CERTIFIED" organic. Please click here.

Remember: Farming is both dynamic and unpredictable. Extreme weather conditions such as late or early frost, too much or too little rain at the wrong times, or even a hail storm, may interfere or alter crop quality and availability. Being a CSA member means sharing in the risks as well as the bounty. Nevertheless, be assured that even in the most challenging of years, we will provide you with your share of the harvest.
